The location is great especially if you are interested in historic sites or Shepherd University. here are some very good wineries a short distance away and connection to Metro. It is easy on/off the main road and nearby transportation to historic Harpers Ferry. There is an easy check-in with plenty of room to maneuver. There are many shady sites to chose from and a very nice pool with great views. This a family oriented campground but if you want a quiet spot just ask management. We arrived late but everything was ready and in the morning the staff was very helpful moving us to better spot. Bring your leveling blocks.
An excellent park overall - the staff is top notch. It is not a luxury park, but does not try to be. It is a great natural Florida setting without being primitive.
A great natural setting with fantastic views. Easy check-in up until 10pm. Very convenient pull-thru wooded sites. The sites have fire rings with sturdy grills for cooking your steaks! Firewood available for purchase. Note that there are no sewer hookups so plan accordingly.
A natural setting in a nice upscale Orlando location. Easy access to downtown, attractions, and major highways. We had an electric/water only site with a nice level pad. Very tight maneuvering. I did appreciate having 24hr access in a public park but the combo lock on the gate was kinda of a pain - but for the price, this is sure worth a try. Friendly, watchful, helpful staff.
Open beach-front sites. Park is OK but who cares, it is the fantastic ocean views that you pay for here! We backed right up to the beach! Convenient location and site was very easy to get in and out of. Nice quiet beach-front town. Can't comment much on facilities - we just spent our time enjoying the beach and the weather!
Very clean modern park with large, shaded, private sites. Friendly, helpful staff and gated security. WiFi is $4 but works very well. Park is under expansion but there is no indication to campers. Great, clean, modern laundry and bath area.
